Secrid Slim Wallet Review
/Are you looking for a slim wallet? Not sure which one to get? Are you tired of your Dad Wallet?” Maybe this will you help you make a decision
I have been looking for a slim wallet for a while now and as you know there are a lot of choices out there.
I originally bought the Bellroy Note Sleeve about 5 years ago. It was a great wallet but I had two complaints.
The wallet is too tall to easily access American Currency.
It has too much excess leather. If the excess leather could be trimmed down this would make it much better.
If you are interested, Bellroy now makes a shorter wallet to accommodate shorter currencies.
The Secrid wallet is made in Holland Using European cowhide. I purchased it in the Vintage Grey black leather.
My favorite feature is the aluminum RFID card protector which works by triggering the tab at the bottom. It holds 4 raised cards or 6 flat cards.
On the inside there are two pockets for extra cards. There is also a plastic tab to hold currency, receipts or business cards
As for thickness, the Secrid is thicker but the trade off is worth it considering there is less material that noticeably makes the wallet overall smaller.
I’ve had the Wallet for over a month now and overall my experience has been positive. I highly recommend the wallet for its slim design, workmanship quality and my favorite feature the RFID card protector.
