Amazon Smart Plug, Is it Worth it?

Is the Amazon Smart Plug worth the retail price of $24.99? I'm not sure, I was lucky enough to get mine for $4.99. I got mine via a promotion Amazon had where you could get the plug for $4.99 if you asked Alexa to put it in your cart. Let's find out.
