Terms and Conditions

These terms describe the use of the Crux of Tech website, operated by Pablo Vargas. If you do not agree with these terms, please stop using the website. Questions can be sent to [email protected].

Reviews and Informational Content

Crux of Tech publishes independent technology reviews, videos, written guides, and personal experiences. Content is intended for general information. It is not a guarantee that a product or method will suit your circumstances or deliver the same result.

Articles and videos reflect the products, software, prices, availability, and understanding at the time they were created or updated. Older material may no longer reflect current specifications, compatibility, instructions, or best available options. Check current manufacturer information before making a purchase or following technical instructions.

Using Instructions and Recommendations

Consider your equipment, experience, backups, safety requirements, and manufacturer instructions before following a guide. Obtain qualified help when appropriate, particularly for electrical work, vehicle work, or changes that could affect safety, warranties, or data.

Reasonable effort is made to provide useful, accurate information, but content may contain errors or become outdated. To the extent permitted by applicable law, content is provided without warranties about its completeness, accuracy, availability, or suitability. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Affiliate Links, Sponsorships, and Review Products

Some links are affiliate links. If you purchase through them, I may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Products may be purchased personally, supplied for review, or featured in sponsored content. Relevant relationships should be disclosed with the associated content. Opinions remain my own; a commission, product sample, or sponsorship does not mean a product is suitable for every reader.

Crux of Tech is not the seller of products purchased from external retailers. The seller's terms, warranties, return policies, and customer service apply to that purchase.

Ownership and Sharing

Unless otherwise identified, original Crux of Tech text, photography, graphics, and videos are owned by Pablo Vargas or used with permission. Product names, logos, third-party images, and embedded materials remain the property of their respective owners.

You may link to Crux of Tech pages and share content using the original platform's permitted sharing tools. Do not reproduce or redistribute original material beyond what applicable law or a separate permission allows. For reuse requests, email [email protected]. These terms do not limit fair use or other rights provided by law.

Third-Party Services

The website links to external retailers and other resources and embeds services such as YouTube and Elfsight. Their availability and features may change, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to their services.

Use of YouTube features is subject to YouTube's Terms of Service. A link or embed does not make Crux of Tech responsible for a third party's products, transactions, content, or data practices.

Contact and Newsletter

Use the contact form for genuine questions, feedback, or relevant business inquiries. Do not send unlawful, abusive, or malicious material, impersonate another person, or attempt to compromise forms or website services.

Sending a message does not enroll you in the newsletter. Newsletter signup is separate and can be withdrawn. The Privacy Policy describes how information is handled.

Availability and Updates

The website, its content, and these terms may change. Features or content may be corrected, moved, or removed. Revised terms will show an updated effective date and any additional notice required by applicable law. Changes do not remove rights that applicable law protects.

For questions, corrections, or permissions requests, contact [email protected].
